This place has gone so far downhill. Sushi that I couldn’t swallow in fear of it being spoiled sashimi. Sticky floors, outdated menus, walls in terrible shape. Not in any way “premier” I would rather eat at a 2 star buffet. Will never return.

Backstory, my husband and I just got back from a vacation in Florida where we found out we really like sushi and seafood in general. We get home and wanted to see if there’s any good sushi in town to hold us over until we go back to FL next year. This is definitely not the place to go for sushi. The salmon on top of my sushi was different temperatures and consistency on every piece of sushi. One piece would be freezing cold and very slimy and fishy, the next would be warm and almost chewy. The service was subpar at best. There were maybe 5 other tables in the whole restaurant and we had to wait 30 minutes for our sushi, and another 20 for our child’s pizza that wasn’t even warm when in came out. I know Amarillo is not known for its good seafood, but if you’re going to put seafood on your menu then you’ve got to figure out how to do it right.

Discovered this place because of proximity to hotel. Had my doubts but actually had a delicious meal. I think the menu is too huge and there's no way to maintain consistency or know what's good or not. But I beleive it really depends on what you order that determinea a 5 star and 1 star review. I had the Avocado Delight Sushi and it was really amazing. An outer avacado outside and inside there was spicy tuna and mixed crab. There was no rice in it and the texture was so soft and tasted great. Portion sizes are good and they have a Happy Hour 4 to 7pm. I would give it a chance and try to stay with their stronger dishes. The ambience is a little dark and the service isn't exactly 5 star but I would consider it a great value.

I was in town for a work trip. I went here on a Tuesday evening. It was pretty dead, but the waitress /bartender was excellent. The drinks were great and I just told them to bring me 3 rolls of whatever sushi the chefs wanted to make. I can't remember what they were called but dang they were good. I'll definitely make it a point to go here again next time I'm around. The price was surprisingly lower than I expected.

Great New Year's experience. The kani puffs were hot and fresh. Right out of the fryer. As were the egg rolls. The steamed dumplings were light and right amount of filling. I got the sushi roll monkey balls and they are the best. Can find anything like them anywhere else. They have a batter and are fried. The waitress was super attentive.
